Letting the ocean be the sweat for these surfer chicks

Monday marked the third day of the Roxy Gold Coast Pro Tournament for woman surfers, and at the top of the heap are Steph Gilmore and Laura Enever who are the leaders going into the quarter finals at the Snapper Rocks in Queensland, Australia. Although round three which was a non elimination round may seem less important but leading into the elimination rounds, these two are defiantly the ones to watch out for.
Enever lead the contestants by making the most out of the 3-5 foot surf. She wowed crowds with massive drops, vertical hacks and tail blows. Beating out former world champ, Carissa Moore. Enever has a history of working well under pressure, beating out top seeds when the pressure is on. But she says that her only goal is to make it to the next heats.
As for former world champ Steph Gilmore, she was on top of the competition by a spread of 5 points when fellow competitor attempted to take the lead with a no-grab air which, if executed perfectly would take Gilmore out of the top rank. However; the attempt was not successful allowing Gilmore to stay on top. Gilmore took the heat with a score of 16.73.
The tournament is expected to start early morning Wednesday, however weather conditions may delay the time of start.
